Episode 456 - Raising Arizona
This week, we continue with our Coen Brothers kick. Their second film moves from the dark noir of Blood Simple to a Looney Tunes style live-action comedy. Some critics originally criticized this films over-the-top nature, but if you can get past the non-realism and complete genre change from the brothers, this is one hilarious ride. Also one of Nic Cages best, most reined in performance. Raising Arizona (1987), directed by the Coen Brothers.
